We are one of the fastest growing carpet mills in Turkiye and the leading producer of wall to wall tufting carpets. samur had its beginning in 1973 in Cubuk, a town 47 km. away from Ankara and in 1996 moved to Akyurt due to the modernization and enlargement factors to upgrade quality, productivity and service. More importantly, this merger allowed samur to expand its export business. Now headquartered in Akyurt much closer to Ankara, the capital city of Turkiye, samur designs, manufactures and markets wall to wall tufting carpets and piece carpet. Being the biggest manufacturer in Turkiye, we are proud to declare that 18.000.000 sqm of carpeting are tufted every year in our mill.

samur carpets, inc. has a very wide range of products including many luxurious constructions in Standard Production Line, 500 pcs. of Design & Colour and unlimited specially developed carpets and designs for contract markets (especially suitable for public places such as dining halls, restaurants, hotels, offices, hospitals, airports and department stores) and housing development projects all differing in our huge production range. A wide range of styles, patterns and colors is available at prices affordable in most budgets. samur combines color and texture in truly different ways and is famed for its rich colors, stability, natural style and fine flexibility.

Polyester, polyamide, polyacrylic and polypropylene are used for our tufting carpets with a tufting process which results in an excellent quality. In our production process, we have “loop pile, cut pile and cut & loop pile” by means of “Tufting”. All these qualities are also used at our Chromojet Printing Line by means of presenting the carpets to the consumers’ taste with required designs and colours. samur keeps up with the world in terms of tufting technique. Various kinds of tufted carpets ranging from ordinary plain color cut pile carpets, loop pile carpets to deluxe carpets can be produced in 4 meters width and 20-30 meters length. Our factory is equipped with the latest technology which is allowing us to make carpet production with different pile weight & height and also with required colour & design with our giant carpet tufting machines and Chromojet Printing Line endowed with computer system. samur brand keeps step with the world’s latest trends in carpet developments by displaying a wild range of products with high quality to the eyes of it’s customers.
In partnership with INVISTA (DuPont), Samur produced Teflon protected carpets since carpet yarns are treated to be durable against environmental factors. Our contract carpets are also fire retardant, high color fastness and highly anti-static for everlasting and wear-proof that are suitable for public places, stores, offices and restaurants as well as for households.
We would like to point out to samur’s most specific characteristic which is the *Flexibility* in order quantity. As it is called “tailer-made business”, we can manufacture tufting carpets according to customer’s need by means of color, feature and quantity. Our manufacture program is letting us to work on small amounts (i.e.500 sqm) for Contract Projects. After receiving the firm order, we can send the first sample of work in a very short time. When the sample is approved by the customer, the mass production starts and we can deliver the order a.s.a.p.
